Since the relaxing of restrictions there is less need for the Winsford Support Group to function as we have done since March. This is not to say however that the group is winding up. We are all aware that a second spike in Covid19 infections may well be around the corner, leading to renewed restrictions and possible lockdowns. This could be anytime - in a couple of weeks or in the middle of Winter. As such, the group is hibernating unless and until we are needed to offer support again if the virus strikes this area. There will be some personal arrangements for shopping and other tasks that were set up during the lockdown that may continue for various reasons, separately to the WSG. For example, the weekly fruit and veg delivery service from R&N will carry on for the time being for those, such as some over 70s, that need to take extra caution. Please take care and stay safe. Local updates will continue to be shown on this website. If you need support, the details of Jane Lillis, the village agent, can be found on the Health & Support page of this site
I'd also just like to take this opportunity to thank the entire WSG for their efforts over a difficult time for the village.
